My purpose is to create a safe and comfortable place for children to learn and grow. I plan to build a connection with each child to create valuable one on one experiences. Let children experiment without being held back! Prepare each student for Kindergarten emotionally, mentally, and physically.
We will be using the 50/50 model for Spanish immersion. The content will include greetings, colors, and simple essential phrases in Spanish (ex. Teacher, can I use the restroom?). We will learn these words and phrases through hands on activities, songs, and games. I believe this will be a solid foundation for any children wanting to continue dual immersion education through elementary school, while still understanding content and curriculum in English. I believe in balance and will work hard to keep students comfortable and curious.
Classes will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm. We will be going on field trips frequently. Children will learn through a wide variety of experiences.
